Lottery players have had some massive jackpots to try and win over the last few days. The biggest was offered by the Mega Millions game on Friday night, where the top prize was worth $218 million, whilst the next best, which could be found in the Powerball game on Saturday, was worth $90 million. Elsewhere, sizeable rollover jackpots were available in the EuroJackpot, EuroMillions and UK Lotto games, so if you haven’t yet checked your tickets you may wish to do so now as we present the world lottery results for 27th and 28th May, 2016…

World Lottery Results for 27th and 28th May

EuroJackpot

04 – 10 – 26 – 33 – 48 Euro Numbers: 05 and 09

EuroJackpot players were chasing a rollover jackpot worth €14 million on Friday night, and they will be chasing even more next week because no player proved able to match all five main numbers as well as both Euro numbers. Four tickets matched the five main numbers and one Euro number to win a second tier prize worth €251,130 each, and another ten tickets won €35,453 each by matching the five main numbers only. There were more than 450,000 prizes won across the lower levels, and the jackpot in the next game on Friday 3 June will be worth an estimated €18 million.

EuroMillions

13 – 25 – 27 – 43 – 46 Lucky Stars: 04 and 08

The jackpot in the EuroMillions game on Friday was worth £35.79 million (€47 million), but no ticket succeeded in winning that prize. On a brighter note, eight tickets won £137,750 (€185,871) each by matching the five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars, whilst the third tier saw 15 tickets match the five main numbers only to win £24,489 (€33,044) each. A fourth tier prize of £2,623 (€3,540) went to each of 70 tickets which matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars, and over 2.48 million entries won smaller prizes. The next EuroMillions game on Tuesday 31 May will offer a jackpot worth around £40 million (around €54 million).

Mega Millions

18 – 41 – 50 – 68 – 70 Mega Ball: 09

Mega Millions players were just six numbers away from winning a jackpot worth $218 million on Friday night, but that top prize eluded participants once again. Two tickets won their owners a life-changing prize of $1 million each by matching all five main numbers, and those entries had been purchased in Michigan and Ohio. There were 45 winners of $5,000 each at the third tier, and more than 2.09 million tickets won prizes across the lower tiers. The next Mega Millions game will take place on Tuesday, and the jackpot is expected to be worth around $235 million.

Powerball

06 – 33 – 34 – 58 – 59 Powerball: 12

The Powerball jackpot on Saturday was worth an advertised $90 million, but no ticket could match all six of the numbers drawn and so that top prize rolled over. The good news is that one ticket matched all five main numbers to win a second tier prize worth $1 million, and another 11 entries won $50,000 each by matching four main numbers and the Powerball. There were more than 446,000 prizes landed by tickets matching fewer numbers, and over 122,000 Power Play entries also won prizes. The jackpot in the next Powerball game on Wednesday 1 June will now be worth an estimated $100 million.

UK Lotto

08 – 10 – 36 – 40 – 52 – 57 Bonus Ball: 59

The UK Lotto game gave players the opportunity to win a double rollover jackpot worth £9.59 million on Saturday night, but unfortunately none of the tickets entered for the game matched the six main numbers needed to win that sum. Two tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to secure a second tier prize worth £45,348 each, and a third tier prize of £1,704 went to each of 56 tickets that matched five main numbers only. More than 1.22 million prizes were won in total, and two players won £1 million each in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle game, where the winning numbers were PINK 9976 4330 and TEAL 0683 9675. The triple rollover jackpot on Wednesday will be worth around £11.4 million.
