One lucky EuroMillions player will start the new week £87.5 million richer after winning Friday’s Superdraw jackpot. Prosperous Draw Sees UK Player Win EuroMillions Superdraw Jackpot

With a Superdraw jackpot of €100 million on offer, players from across the continent had been eagerly awaiting the draw, which was the first event of its kind since September 2016 when a number of changes were introduced to the popular pan-European lottery. This latest jackpot victory was the seventh time in 19 Superdraws that the top prize had been won at the first time of asking, the first time since Friday 6th March 2015.

This win sees the ticket holder become the third UK-based player to clinch to jackpot since the start of the year. In addition to this accolade, the fortuitous lottery fan, who is yet to make contact with National Lottery officials, will also walk away with the second largest EuroMillions prize of 2017, just shy of a Belgian ticket holder who pocketed £134.8 million (€153.8 million) on Friday 2nd June.

The special draw also proved prosperous for two more ticket holders from the UK, who were amongst six players to pick up a prize worth £200,047 (€312,627) in the Match 5+1 prize tier. There was further success for 3,057,350 participants, all of whom won prizes ranging from £3 (€5) for matching two main numbers to £54,669 (€62,412) for those able to predict five main numbers.

There were also plenty of smiles for those players taking part in the various supplementary games around Europe. Two UK ticket holders became instant millionaires after each player correctly matched one of the two Millionaire Maker codes draw, while a €1 million reward was bestowed upon a French player in the My Million draw. Lady Luck didn’t forget about the Irish either, as ten players were each lavished with €5,000 in the Ireland Only Raffle draw and one player picked up a €500,000 sum thanks to the country’s second chance game, EuroMillions Plus.

The EuroMillions jackpot has now reset ahead of this Tuesday’s draw, when players will be given the opportunity to win an estimated £14 million (€17 million). If you would like to become the next winner of a fabulous EuroMillions fortune, don’t delay and pick your numbers online today. Alternatively, you can play through any authorised retailer across the continent. Good luck!
