Lottery Results for Saturday 9th May, 2015

The good news is that the jackpots were landed in the UK Lotto, Irish Lotto and Australian Saturday Lotto games, and millions of consolation prizes were also won right across the board. To find out exactly how events unfolded, and which numbers delivered the prizes just mentioned, read on as we present the lottery results for Saturday 9th May, 2015…

Lottery Results for Saturday 9th May, 2015

UK Lotto

05 – 17 – 22 – 31 – 40 – 48 Bonus Ball: 18

A rollover in the midweek UK Lotto game helped the jackpot in the Saturday night game to reach the impressive sum of £5,327,276. There were two tickets that matched all six main numbers required to share that sum, giving each winner the right to claim £2,663,638. The second tier saw a single ticket match five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £343,643, and more than 291,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. The Lotto Raffle game also delivered a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 winners. The next game on Wednesday 13th May will offer a brand new jackpot with an estimated value of around £2.1 million.

Irish Lottery

02 – 05 – 13 – 17 – 32 – 34 Bonus Ball: 45

The Irish Lotto jackpot weighed in with a final value of €5,900,958 for the draw last night, and the good news is that one ticket won that sum outright. There was another single ticket that matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number to secure a second tier prize of €25,000, whilst 55 entries won their owners €1,266 each by matching five main numbers only. More than 40,667 prizes were won across the lower levels, and there will now be a brand new jackpot of €2 million in the next game on Wednesday.

SuperEnalotto

31 – 40 – 52 – 55 – 62 – 76 Jolly: 17 SuperStar: 44

SuperEnalotto players were pursuing a multi-rollover jackpot with an advertised value of €11 million last night, but no ticket was able to match all six main numbers and so the top prize rolled over once again. The second tier was also vacant of winners, but three tickets succeeded in matching five of the main numbers to secure a third tier prize of €78,825 each. More than 19,000 tickets won lesser prizes by matching four or three main numbers, and in addition there were over 41,000 prizes won by SuperStar entries. The jackpot in the next game will be worth an estimated €11.4 million.

Powerball

04 – 15 – 17 – 35 – 58 Powerball: 17

The Powerball jackpot was worth an advertised $90 million to anyone who could match all six of the numbers drawn in last night’s game, but no player was able to do that. Two tickets matched the five main numbers without the Powerball to win $1 million each, and the third tier saw 22 tickets win $10,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball. There were more than 351,000 prizes won by tickets matching fewer numbers, and over 91,000 Power Play entries also won prizes. Powerball fans will now have a jackpot of around $100 million to play for in the next game.

Australian Saturday Lotto

04 – 13 – 27 – 29 – 31 – 32 Supplementary Numbers: 34 and 36

There was a special jackpot worth AU$20 million up for grabs in this week’s Australian Saturday Lotto game, and that larger than usual jackpot attracted a larger than usual number of entries. There were 17 tickets that matched all six main numbers to take a share of the top prize, which means that each of those tickets is now worth AU$1,235,294. Another 175 tickets matched five main numbers as well as one of the supplementary numbers to win AU$8,911 each at Division 2, and 3,223 tickets won AU$1,044 each at Division 3 by matching five main numbers only. Over 1.29 million prizes were landed across the lower divisions, and the next game on Saturday 16th May will offer a brand new jackpot worth around AU$4 million.
