Lottery Results for Saturday 29th August, 2015

UK Lotto

12 – 18 – 23 – 33 – 42 – 43 Bonus Ball: 10

The UK Lotto jackpot was worth £3,916,107 by the time the results were published, but no player succeeded in winning that prize. There were six winners at the second tier, and each of those landed a prize of £52,096 by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. Another 296 tickets won £896 each by matching five main numbers only, and more than 274,000 entries won smaller prizes. The jackpot in the next UK Lotto game on Wednesday 2 September will now be worth an estimated £5.1 million.

Irish Lottery

10 – 14 – 22 – 24 – 26 – 44 Bonus Ball: 12

The Irish lottery jackpot weighed in at slightly less than estimated, with a final value of €4,250,974, but it will be worth considerably more next time after no ticket proved able to match all six main numbers. Two tickets won their owners €25,000 each by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, and the third tier saw 24 tickets win €2,464 each by matching five main numbers only. More than 32,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers, and the jackpot in the next game on Wednesday will be worth around €5 million.

SuperEnalotto

07 – 28 – 44 – 55 – 57 – 78 Jolly: 14 SuperStar: 77

As we said at the head of this news item, the SuperEnalotto game last night boasted a jackpot worth an advertised €12.9 million. No ticket matched the six numbers needed to win that sum, and no ticket won a second tier prize either, but three players managed to win €71,275 at the third tier by matching five main numbers only. Over 24,000 smaller prizes were won by standard entries, and there were more than 42,000 Super Star entries that also won prizes. The jackpot in the next game on Tuesday 1st September will now be worth an estimated €13.3 million.

Powerball

18 – 21 – 25 – 28 – 29 Powerball: 16

Lottery players who were excited about the prospect of winning $110 million in the Powerball game this week will be even more excited next time thanks to yet another jackpot rollover. Five tickets won their owners a cool $1 million each by matching five main numbers only, and another 20 entries won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball. There were more than 387,000 prizes won by standard Powerball entries, and over 89,000 Power Play entries also landed a prize for their owners. The advertised value of the jackpot for the next Powerball game on Wednesday is $120 million.

Australian Saturday Lotto

11 – 18 – 26 – 27 – 37 – 39 Supplementary Numbers: 05 and 30

Two of the main numbers and one of the supplementary numbers that were drawn in this week’s Australian Saturday Lotto game had also appeared exactly one week earlier, but the number of top prize winners was far less than the 18 that succeeded on that occasion. There were just two tickets that matched all six main numbers this week, and those won a half-share of the AU$4,215,618 jackpot, giving each of the winning players AU$2,107,809. Division 2 awarded a prize of AU$10,421 to each of 55 tickets that had matched five main numbers as well as one of the supplementary numbers, and more than 520,000 tickets won smaller sums. The next game on Saturday 5th September will offer an extra special jackpot which is expected to be worth around AU$21 million.
