Lottery Results for Saturday 24th May 2014

There were several big lottery jackpots landed last night, and the biggest of all was in the SuperEnalotto game, where one ticket defied the odds to win more than €20 million.  Jackpot success was also achieved in the UK Lotto and Australian Saturday Lotto draws, with players in other games now looking forward to pursuing even bigger sums next time. All games delivered plenty of consolation prizes last night regardless of what happened at the highest levels, so players who haven't checked their tickets may want to do so now as we summarise the lottery results for Saturday 24th May, 2014...

Lottery Results for Saturday 24th May 2014

UK Lotto

10 – 31 – 35 – 40 – 41 – 44 Bonus Ball: 46

UK Lotto players saw plenty of high numbers being drawn last night, and it wouldn’t have been any great surprise if the jackpot had rolled over. The good news is that no such rollover occurred because two tickets were able to match all six main numbers to share the jackpot, which was worth £5,340,060. A second tier prize of £213,119 went to each of two tickets that matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, and over 224,000 prizes were won at the lower levels. Full details of those prizes, together with the 50 winning Lotto Raffle numbers that were worth £20,000 each, can be found by visiting the Results page at Lottery.co.uk.

Irish Lottery

02 – 11 – 21 – 27 – 30 – 41 Bonus Ball: 04

Irish Lottery players were pursuing a jackpot with an advertised value of €10 million on Saturday but no ticket was able to match all six of the main numbers that were drawn, so the top prize rolled over yet again. No ticket was able to win a second tier prize either, but 79 tickets matched five main numbers only to land a third tier prize of €1,057 each, and more than 51,000 tickets won smaller prizes. The complete prize schedule for last night’s game can be viewed by visiting the Results page at IrishLottery.com, and the next Irish Lottery game on Wednesday will offer a jackpot that is expected to be worth around €11 million.

Health Lottery

06 – 31 – 34 – 41 – 45 Bonus Ball: 22

A top prize winner in the game on Saturday 17th May gave Health Lottery players every reason to expect similarly big things from last night's draw, but unfortunately it was not to be. No ticket matched all five main numbers, but more than 7,000 tickets were able to win consolation prizes of up to £10,000 each by matching fewer numbers.

SuperEnalotto

03 – 22 – 38 – 70 – 77 – 81 Jolly: 32 SuperStar: 22

Italian lottery players have been very patient waiting for the SuperEnalotto jackpot to deliver the goods, and that patience was well rewarded last night. One ticket matched all six main numbers that were required to succeed in landing the top prize, and the final value of that jackpot was €20,836,103. No player won a second tier prize, but 12 tickets won their owners €22,610 each by matching five main numbers, and over 32,000 tickets won smaller prizes at the lower levels. The next SuperEnalotto game on Tuesday 27th May will offer a brand new jackpot worth around €6.3 million.

Powerball

15 – 16 – 28 – 49 – 55 Powerball: 18

Powerball players were just six numbers away from winning an advertised jackpot of $132 million last night, but that was still one number too many even for those who fared best. Two tickets matched the five main numbers only to win a second tier consolation prize worth $1 million each, and another 15 tickets matched four main numbers plus the Powerball to secure a prize of $10,000 each at the third tier. There were more than 471,000 winning tickets in total, and over 90,000 successful Power Play entries in addition. The next Powerball game on Wednesday will offer a jackpot worth an estimated $152 million.

Australian Saturday Lotto

11 – 13 – 28 – 37 – 43 – 45 Supplementary Numbers: 26 and 27

Australian Saturday Lotto players had a jackpot of AUD$4,067,848 to play for last night, and we are pleased to report that six players matched all of the numbers required to win it. As always, the jackpot was shared equally between the winning players, making each one AUD$677,974 richer than they were beforehand.  There were 115 tickets that matched five main numbers plus one of the supplementary numbers to win AUD$4,809 each, and over 527,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. There will be another jackpot of around AUD$4 million to be won in the next game on Saturday 31st May.
