Health Lottery players wanting to see anyone win a top prize of £100,000 have had to be fairly patient in recent draws, but two such winners came along at once last night, which was nice to see. In addition, more than 17,000 consolation prizes of up to £10,000 each were landed, so well done to everyone involved. There were no tickets that were successful at the second tier either, but nine entries won their owners €29,751 each at the third tier by matching five main numbers only, and over 20,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching four or three main numbers. More than 43,000 SuperStar entries also won prizes, and the jackpot in the next game on Tuesday 18 November will be worth around €39.3 million.

A rollover in the midweek Powerball game meant that the jackpot last night was worth $50 million to anyone who could match all five main numbers plus the Powerball itself. No players managed that task, but two tickets matched five main numbers only to win their owners $1 million each, and there were 13 entries that won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers and the Powerball. More than 368,000 prizes were won in total, with almost 70,000 of those going to Power Play entries and the rest being landed by standard entries. The next Powerball game will now boast an advertised jackpot of $60 million.
