EuroJackpot
06 – 07 – 36 – 39 – 40 Euro Numbers: 01 and 10
For the second draw in succession, one EuroJackpot ticket matched all seven of the numbers drawn to win the top prize outright. The jackpot was worth €10 million and the winning ticket this week had been purchased by a player in Finland. At the second tier, another single ticket matched all five main numbers plus one Euro number to win €1,053,778, and a third tier prize of €123,974 went to each of three tickets that matched the five main numbers only. In total, over 363,000 tickets won prizes, and players can now try to win a brand new jackpot of €10 million for the third time in a row on Friday 20 May.
EuroMillions
07 – 15 – 28 – 31 – 42 Lucky Stars: 10 and 11
A jackpot win for Portugal in the Tuesday EuroMillions game meant that lottery players had a new jackpot of £11.8 million (€15 million) to play for on Friday. No player won that prize, but six tickets matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number to win £187,950 (€258,521) each at the second tier. A prize of £18,795 (€25,852) was landed by 20 tickets that matched the five main numbers only, and another 64 entries won £2,936 (€4,039) each by matching four main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars. There will now be a rollover jackpot of around £16 million (€21 million) for players to pursue on Tuesday 17 May.
Mega Millions
20 – 21 – 38 – 54 – 66 Mega Ball: 07
Mega Millions players were six numbers away from being able to take down a jackpot worth $161 million on Friday, but no ticket was able to match all of those numbers, and so the top prize rolled over once again. The good news is that three tickets (which had been purchased in Maryland, New Jersey and Texas) won their owners $1 million each by matching all five main numbers, so the dream of becoming a lottery millionaire in this game was certainly realised by a handful of players. There were 22 tickets that won $5,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Mega Ball, and more than 1.8 million players won smaller prizes. There will now be a jackpot of around $174 million to play for in the next game on Tuesday.
Powerball
13 – 27 – 47 – 64 – 65 Powerball: 09
The Powerball jackpot on Saturday was worth $50 million, and players were hoping to see a repeat of the success that one ticket had enjoyed the previous week when winning the top prize outright. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, but two tickets succeeded in matching all five main numbers to win $1 million each. Another 10 tickets secured a second tier prize of $50,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball number, and more than 435,000 entries won smaller sums by matching fewer numbers. Over 117,000 prizes were also won by Power Play entries, and the jackpot in the next game on Wednesday 18 May will be worth an estimated $60 million.
UK Lotto
09 – 12 – 23 – 24 – 32 – 51 Bonus Ball: 16
There was a brand new jackpot worth £3.87 million for players to try and win in the Saturday UK Lotto draw this week, but no ticket proved able to win that sum, and so the jackpot rolled over to the next game. Three players won £29,485 each by matching five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball number, and at the third tier there were 75 tickets that matched five main numbers only to win £1,241 each. More than 1.56 million smaller prizes were also landed, and two tickets are now worth £1 million each after matching the Lotto Millionaire Raffle numbers, which were GOLD 6455 1243 and RUBY 5401 7523. The next game on Wednesday will now offer a jackpot worth around £6.1 million.
