France and Ireland Share EuroMillions!

EuroJackpot

03 – 20 – 32 – 40 – 42 Euro Numbers 04 and 09

EuroJackpot players might have felt a twinge of déjà vu on Friday as one of the main numbers (03) and both of the Euro numbers were drawn for the second week in a row. Unfortunately, that fact didn’t help anyone to match all seven numbers, and so the €10 million jackpot rolled over. The second tier was also vacant of winners, but three lucky tickets managed to match all five main numbers to win a third tier prize worth €122,354 each. There were more than 394,000 tickets that won more modest prizes across the lower levels, and the next game on Friday 5th February will now offer a jackpot worth an estimated €14 million.

EuroMillions

01 – 05 – 23 – 29 – 32 Lucky Stars: 01 and 07

As we said at the head of this news item, the EuroMillions jackpot was finally landed on Friday night, with one French and one Irish ticket winning €66,188,316 (around £50,382,545) each. There were six tickets that matched all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars to secure a second tier consolation prize worth €408,294 (£303,465) each, and another five entries won €163,317 (£121,386) each by matching the five main numbers only. Over 4.17 million prizes were won in total, and in the UK, seven players also won a Millionaire Maker prize of £1 million each. The jackpot in the next EuroMillions game on Tuesday 2nd February will be worth €15 million (around £11 million).

Mega Millions

20 – 28 – 49 – 51 – 52 Mega Ball: 06

A jackpot worth around $56 million was awaiting any player who could match all six of the numbers drawn in Friday’s Mega Millions game, but none of the tickets purchased for the draw was able to achieve that feat. The good news is that a single ticket that had been purchased in Kansas won its owner a second tier prize worth $1 million by matching the five main numbers only, and another 46 entries matched four main numbers as well as the Mega Ball number to win $5,000 each. There were more than 1.1 million smaller prizes won by tickets matching fewer numbers, and there will now be a jackpot of around $63 million for players to pursue in the next game on Tuesday.

Powerball

05 – 12 – 16 – 31 – 43 Powerball: 18

Powerball players were just six numbers away from landing an advertised jackpot of $96 million last night, but none of the participants managed to do that, so the top prize rolled over once again. Two tickets matched all five of the main numbers to win a second tier prize worth $1 million each, and there were 18 tickets that won $50,000 each at the third tier by matching four of the main numbers plus the Powerball. Over 571,000 prizes were won in total by standard entries, and more than 149,000 Power Play entries also won prizes. The jackpot in the next game on Wednesday 3 February will now be worth around $112 million.

UK Lotto

01 – 06 – 21 – 31 – 41 – 44 Bonus Ball: 42

The UK Lotto game continued its series of jackpot rollovers last night, which means that the top prize has now eluded participants for six draws in a row. There were three winners at the second tier, and each of those won £36,883 by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. Another 239 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £487 each, and over 1.97 million prizes were won across the lower levels. There were 20 Lotto Raffle winners of £20,000 each, and a single Lotto Millionaire Raffle winner of £1 million. The winning Lotto Millionaire Raffle number on Saturday was AQUA 5727 1963. UK Lotto players will now have a jackpot of around £22.9 million to try and win on Wednesday.
