Excitement Surges Ahead of Tonight's EuroMillions Draw

EuroMillions players are gearing up for an exciting draw this evening as there is an incredible £109 million (€135 million) jackpot to play for. Today’s date, Friday 13th, is classed by many as a day of misfortune so can any player defy tradition and win big on this infamously unlucky day?

Excitement Surges Ahead of Tonight's EuroMillions Draw

The current jackpot started its current rollover spree on Friday 2nd May and has since notched up 11 successive draws without a top tier winner. As a result, tonight’s jackpot is the largest seen in EuroMillions since 25th June 2013 when a colossal top prize of £159 million (€187 million) was shared between one ticket holder from the Province of Limburg, Belgium and another from Dublin, Ireland.

Although the jackpot has some way to go before it enters the record books, it is currently in fifth position on the list of biggest EuroMillions jackpots ever. First place goes to the €190 million jackpot won by UK players Adrian and Gillian Bayford on 10th August 2012. Remarkably, UK players are also in second place as Chris and Colin Weir from Scotland scooped €185 million in July 2011.

With a colossal jackpot on offer tonight, player interest is growing so ticket sales are certain to be high. If you’d like to participate in tonight’s draw, be sure to purchase your tickets in well in advance to avoid the last-minute rush and potentially lengthy queues at retailers. Alternatively, you can avoid the queues altogether by purchasing your tickets online via the Lottery Tickets tab.

Tonight’s EuroMillions results will be available to view here within minutes of the draw taking place so check back shortly after 20.30 BST to see if Friday 13th has been lucky for you after all!
