The latest jackpot win for Spain is the third such success of the year, and sees the nation take a clear lead over France, which has had two wins in 2014. Six tickets missed out on a share of the jackpot by just one Lucky Star number, and each of those tickets won their owners a second tier prize worth €263,580 / £187,470 instead. Ten tickets won €52,716 / £37,494 by matching five main numbers only, and more than 2.81 million prizes were won at the lower levels. The complete prize breakdown can be viewed by visiting the EuroMillions Results page at Euro-Millions.com.
The EuroMillions Plus game in Ireland failed to deliver its top prize of €500,000 to any player because no ticket was able to match all five numbers. There were 41 tickets that succeeded in matching four numbers to land their owners a prize of €2,000 each, and another 1,942 tickets matched three numbers to win €20 each.
In the other big pan-European lottery game, EuroJackpot, the main numbers drawn last night were 19, 21, 22, 28 and 45, and the Euro numbers were 06 and 07. There was no ticket that could match all seven of those numbers, so the €16 million jackpot rolled over and the next game will boast a jackpot that is expected to be worth around €20 million. Three tickets matched all five main numbers and one Euro number last night to win €264,739 each, and more than 377,000 smaller prizes were won by tickets matching fewer numbers.
Well done to everyone who won a lottery prize on Friday night, and good luck to those who will be hoping to win big in any of the Saturday games. The biggest jackpot on offer this evening is worth $330 million in the Powerball game, so we look forward to reporting on how that draw unfolded when we present our round up of the Saturday lottery results tomorrow morning. Don’t miss it!
