What is the South Africa National Lottery Raffle?
First launched in 2016, the South Africa National Lottery Raffle gives players the chance to win amazing prizes at various stages throughout the year. Typically, there are four prize tiers in each draw with ticket holders in the highest tier receiving a special reward; this can be in the form of cash or a luxury prize, such as a car. Players in the remaining three categories will each receive varying sums of money.
How Do I Play?
To take part in the upcoming draw, visit any authorised South Africa National Lottery retailer and purchase a South Africa National Lottery Raffle ticket. Players are presented with a ticket bearing a unique, pre-printed code which must be matched to one of the codes randomly selected on the night of the draw.
Tickets go on sale on Sunday 29th October and close at 8:30pm on Saturday 30th December, with the draw itself taking place later that evening at 9:00pm. As this is a raffle, there are a limited number of tickets, so act early to avoid disappointment. The results of the latest draw will be available to view shortly after its conclusion.
What Has Been Won in Previous Draws?
To date, there have been two South Africa Raffle draws, each offering incredibly desirable prizes. The first draw took place on Friday 30th December and saw 15 lucky ticket holders walk away with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet, while players in the lower tiers landed rewards of R100,000, R10,000 or R1,000.
The second draw took place in May this year, when 12 players each managed to secure a R1 million payday. Mirroring the first draw, players in the lower prize categories scooped sums of R100,000, R10,000 or R1,000.
