UK Lotto Results for Wednesday 29th January 2014

The final UK Lotto draw of the month took place last night and gave players the chance to win a jackpot worth £2.7 million. The results from the draw revealed that one lucky ticket holder matched all six main numbers drawn to win the jackpot, bringing the number of UK Lotto jackpot wins for this month to seven.

In addition to the jackpot winner, three ticket holders matched five main numbers and the Bonus ball to each win £74,324 while 85 players matched five main numbers to win £2,227 each. A further 5,908 players won £169 by matching four main numbers and over 115,000 players matched three numbers to win £25.

In last night’s Lotto Raffle draw, there were 50 ticket holders who each won the set raffle prize of £20,000. The Lotto Raffle results from last night’s draw can be found on Lottery.co.uk.

Following this top prize win, the UK Lotto jackpot now resets to an estimated £4.4 million for Saturday’s draw.

Other Mid-Week Lottery Results

The US Powerball jackpot has climbed to US$194 million after ticket holders in last night’s draw failed to match all five main numbers and the Powerball drawn. The last time the Powerball jackpot approached the US$200 million mark was in October 2013 after nine successive draws without a top prize winner. The jackpot was eventually won on Wednesday 23rd October by one ticket holder from California who matched the jackpot winning combination to scoop the top prize worth US$216 million.

Although no players won the jackpot in last night’s draw, five ticket holders from Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey and New York matched all five main numbers drawn to each win US$1 million. For the latest Powerball results, visit Lottery.net.
