UK Lotto Results for Wednesday 27th August 2014

The UK Lotto jackpot will now roll over after no one matched all six main numbers in last night’s draw. Players will now be eyeing up a tantalising potential top prize of £5.5 million when the game returns on Saturday night.

The Guinevere machine dispensed main numbers 5, 17, 29, 36, 37 and 49 plus Bonus Ball 2, and although no ticket holder nabbed the £2.2 million top prize, more than 130,000 players will be receiving cash amounts ranging from the lowest-tier fixed award of £25 each for matching three main balls up to a rather decent £60,142 each for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.

Another 50 players will be waking up £20,000 better off as the code on their ticket matched one of the winning Lotto Raffle codes drawn. Visit the Results Page at lottery.co.uk for a full breakdown of the prizes and a list of the winning raffle codes.

The next UK Lotto draw will be held on Saturday 30th August and will feature 100 Lotto Raffle prizes in addition to the rollover jackpot. With new uniforms needing to be bought as the school holidays come to a close and credit card bills from the family’s summer exploits dropping onto doormats across the country, any financial boost would be welcome and the prospect of becoming a multimillionaire will see players snapping up Lotto tickets, which are on sale now, in their droves.
