Next EuroMillions Superdraw Announced

The next EuroMillions Superdraw will take place on Friday 6th March with a jackpot worth €100 million, which works out at approximately £75 million depending on the exchange rate. No matter what happens in the previous draw, there will be a nine-figure bounty to play for, which is sure to spark excitement amongst lottery fans across Europe.

The last EuroMillions Superdraw took place on Friday 3rd October 2014, after which the jackpot rolled over six times before reaching its cap of €190 million. The top prize was eventually won on Friday 24th October by a Portuguese player. On Friday 6th June 2014, there was due to be a Superdraw but the jackpot naturally rolled to more than €100 million before the draw took place. A Spanish ticket holder matched all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars a week later, banking €137 million in the process.

The last time a UK player scooped a Superdraw-boosted jackpot was in March 2014. The €100 million prize pot rolled over twice after the Superdraw on Friday 7th March, with mechanic Neil Trotter from Surrey claiming £107.9 million on Friday 14th March.

Superdraws are called from time to time and work in exactly the same way as a regular draw, with the only difference being the huge guaranteed jackpot. To find out more about these special events and their history, visit the EuroMillions Superdraw page of Euro-Millions.com.

There is just over a month to wait for the Superdraw, but EuroMillions regularly offers big money prizes, including a minimum jackpot of €15 million (£11 million) this Friday night. In addition, one UK player will win £1 million on Millionaire Maker and a French player will snap up €1 million thanks to My Million. Tickets are on sale now either online or from authorised retailers across the continent.
