National Lottery Website Down

National Lottery players will be unable to buy tickets online for Lotto and EuroMillions draws between 7:30pm (BST) on Saturday 30th August and the afternoon of Monday 1st September due to planned maintenance on the company’s website. Lottery officials are relaunching the site with what they promise will be a “fresh new look” and improved user experience for all visitors whether they are using a tablet, smartphone or desktop.

Tickets will be on sale for Saturday’s Lotto, Lotto Raffle and Thunderball draws until 7:30pm on Saturday as usual but, after that, website content will be limited to the latest results which will appear at around 9:30pm. During the transition period, players will not be able to access their National Lottery accounts or play games but the National Lottery are advising that the new look site will be fully functioning by Monday afternoon.

Players who have purchased their tickets online will, as usual, receive an email notification if their ticket matches a winning combination. However, for security reasons, the email will not contain details of the prize amount and players will need to wait until the website is fully functioning to check how much they have won.

Direct Debits will not be affected and tickets for all National Lottery draws and games will be available from authorised retailers as usual.
