National Lottery Ticket Sales to Go Back Online by Monday Evening

If you’re itching to play your favourite lottery games while the National Lottery website is down, then don’t worry - ticket sales for EuroMillions, Lotto, Thunderball and Lotto Hotpicks are expected to go back online by Monday evening.

While the National Lottery site may have closed on Saturday night for some necessary updates, the weekend wasn’t a total wash for lottery fans. The EuroMillions draw that took place on Friday 29th August saw over 2.2 million ticket holders snap up a cash prize, including five players who matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £207,980 (€285,439) each. An additional two participants were rewarded with £173,316 (€237,866) each for matching five main numbers while 84 ticket holders woke up £2,063 (€2,831) richer on Saturday morning when they matched four main numbers and two Lucky Stars. The remaining players won amounts worth between £3.10 (€4.30) for matching just two main numbers and £160.30 (€220) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. Visit the Results page at Euro-Millions.com for more information about the prizes distributed on the night, including details of the winning Millionaire Raffle code.

As no one was able to match the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars drawn on the night, the EuroMillions jackpot for Tuesday 2nd September will now be worth £29 million (€37 million).

One lucky Lotto participant matched all six main numbers drawn and bagged a £6.4 million jackpot while eight players matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £51,697 each. The remaining players won amounts worth between £25 for matching three main numbers and £1,995 for matching five main numbers, and 100 ticket holders snapped up £20,000 each when the codes on their tickets matched those drawn in the Lotto Raffle. For a full breakdown of the prizes, visit the Results Page at Lottery.co.uk.

The next Lotto jackpot will be worth £2.1 million and the draw will take place on Wednesday 3rd September.

We think that the wait for the new website will definitely be worth it as there are some great jackpots up for grabs this week. Tickets for all UK lottery games are on sale now.
