Lottery Results for Saturday 22nd February 2014

The week leading up to last night’s lottery games was a very memorable one thanks to huge jackpots having been landed in both the Powerball and SuperEnalotto games. Lottery fans were keen to see if they could keep the winning going over the weekend, and in several of the Saturday night draws they did just that. Those of you who haven’t yet checked your tickets may want to do so now as we present our round-up of the lottery results for Saturday 22nd February, 2014…

UK Lotto

19 – 23 – 34 – 35 – 39 – 49 Bonus Ball: 33

A rollover in the midweek UK Lotto game gave players a jackpot of £7,647,028 to play for last night. There was just one ticket that managed to match all six of the main numbers, so the jackpot was won outright and the next game will start over with a top prize of around £2.2 million. There were five tickets that matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number last night to win a second tier prize of £89,598 each, and over 250,000 tickets won prizes at the lower tiers. You can see exactly how those tickets were distributed across the various prize levels by visiting the Results page at Lottery.co.uk.

Irish Lottery

08 – 15 – 18 – 21 – 36 – 45 Bonus Ball: 13

The jackpot in the latest Irish Lottery game weighed in at a hefty €6,494,585 thanks to a series of rollovers, and that series continued unbroken because no ticket was able to match all six main numbers. No ticket could win a second tier prize either, so the biggest winners were found at the third tier, where 39 tickets matched five main numbers to land a prize of €1,832 each. There were over 38,000 consolation prizes won in total, and you can view the complete breakdown of those by paying a visit to the Results page at IrishLottery.com. The next Irish Lottery game this Wednesday will offer a jackpot worth around €7 million.

Health Lottery

01 – 11 – 12 – 16 – 35 Bonus Ball: 04

The Health Lottery game was ready to deliver a top prize of £100,000 to any player who was able to match five of the numbers drawn, but there was no such player, so the champagne will have to sit on ice for a while longer. On a more positive note, celebrations were in order for the owners of more than 87,000 tickets that won a consolation prize of some kind, the biggest of which were worth £10,000 to those who matched four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.

SuperEnalotto

17 – 19 – 28 – 34 – 38 – 82 Jolly: 40 SuperStar: 62

The SuperEnalotto jackpot was landed in the first draw of the week, on Tuesday 18th February, and the new jackpot rolled over on Thursday, bringing the value of last night’s top prize to €2.7 million. There was no ticket that matched all six main numbers drawn, so the jackpot rolled over for the second game in a row. There were no second tier prize winners either, but five tickets matched five main numbers only to win €58,555 each and more than 35,000 prizes were landed at the lower levels. The SuperEnalotto jackpot is expected to be worth around €3.3 million by the time the next game arrives on Tuesday.

Powerball

02 – 03 – 13 – 14 – 54 Powerball: 04

The midweek Powerball game on Wednesday saw one Californian lottery ticket match all of the numbers drawn to win a jackpot worth $425 million, so the jackpot in last night’s game was valued at a more modest $40 million. No player won the top prize, but one ticket was lucky enough to match the five main numbers only to land a consolation prize of $1 million. Another 12 tickets matched four main numbers plus the Powerball to win $10,000 each, and more than 372,000 tickets won smaller prizes at the lower levels. The next Powerball lottery game will offer a jackpot worth $50 million.

Australian Saturday Lotto

08 – 12 – 15 – 25 – 26 – 45 Supplementary Numbers: 23 and 28

The jackpot in the Australian Saturday Lotto game returned to its usual levels last night after the heady heights of the Superdraw a week earlier. Six tickets matched all six main numbers to share the AUD$4,239,918 jackpot, which gave each one a winning value of AUD$706,653. There were 72 prizes of AUD$7,987 paid to tickets that matched five main numbers and one of the supplementary numbers, and 1,163 tickets matched five main numbers only to land a Division 3 prize of AUD$1,067 each. More than 589,000 prizes were won across the lowest three Divisions, and the jackpot next Saturday will once again be worth around AUD$4 million.
