Lottery Results for Saturday 22nd August, 2015

Lottery players had another fantastic range of big jackpots to play for this week, and the biggest of all was offered by the Powerball game in the USA, where the top prize had an advertised value of $90 million. That prize wasn’t landed, but there were plenty of other big jackpots on offer, and several players succeeded in making their lottery dreams come true. Those of you who haven’t yet checked your numbers may want to do so now as we present our round-up of the lottery results for Saturday 22nd August, 2015…

UK Lotto

07 – 19 – 22 – 28 – 40 – 44 Bonus Ball: 31

There was an advertised jackpot of £3.9 million to be won in the UK Lotto game last night, and there will be an even bigger top prize of around £4.3 million for players to pursue in the next game after no ticket proved able to match all six main numbers. On a brighter note, eight tickets won their owners £30,278 each by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, and another 335 entries matched five main numbers only to win £613 each. The total number of prizes won exceeded 320,000, and the Lotto Raffle game delivered a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 winners.

Irish Lottery

05 – 17 – 19 – 20 – 29 – 32 Bonus Ball: 23

There was a multi-rollover jackpot worth €3.37 million up for grabs in the Irish Lottery game last night, but none of the tickets entered for the draw were able to match all six numbers needed to win that sum. The second prize tier was also vacant of winners, but 33 tickets won a third tier prize of €1,775 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 115 entries matched four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win €128 each. More than 35,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers, and there will now be a jackpot of around €4 million for participants to try and win in the next game on Wednesday.

SuperEnalotto

06 – 07 – 09 – 14 – 17 – 35 Jolly: 27 SuperStar: 87

SuperEnalotto fans saw last Saturday’s draw postponed until Monday due to a national holiday, but this week the schedule returned to normal and players were hoping to land a jackpot worth around €11.8 million. No ticket succeeded in matching all of the numbers needed to win the top prize, and there were no winners at the second tier either, but 26 tickets won €7,858 each by matching five main numbers only at the third tier. Over 53,000 tickets won smaller prizes, and more than 33,000 SuperStar entries also won prizes. The next game on Tuesday will now offer a jackpot worth around €12.1 million.

Powerball

04 – 12 – 14 – 21 – 55 Powerball: 07

As we said at the head of this news item, the top prize awaiting any player who could match all of the numbers drawn in last night’s Powerball game was $90 million. No ticket managed to achieve that feat, but two tickets matched five main numbers without the Powerball to win a second tier prize of $1 million each. There were 32 entries that won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball, and more than 395,000 tickets won smaller prizes at the lower levels. There were also more than 101,000 successful Power Play entries. The next game on Wednesday will now offer a jackpot worth an estimated $100 million.

Australian Saturday Lotto

04 – 13 – 18 – 27 – 30 – 36 Supplementary Numbers: 05 and 32

The final value of the Australian Saturday Lotto jackpot this week was AU$4,237,921, and there was one more winner than in last week’s game, with 18 tickets matching all six main numbers.
