Lottery Results for Saturday 20th December 2014

The final Saturday before Christmas gave lottery players a plethora of opportunities to win big money, and once again it is our pleasure to confirm that quite a few of them succeeded. Even in those games where the jackpots went unclaimed, tens of thousands of tickets were able to land consolation prizes for their owners, so if you haven't yet checked your entries you may wish to do so now. The lottery results for Saturday 20th December, 2014, were as follows...

UK Lotto

18 – 22 – 23 – 32 – 40 – 42 Bonus Ball: 28

UK Lotto enthusiasts had the chance to win a brand new jackpot of £4.98 million last night, but none of the tickets purchased for the game managed to win it, so the jackpot in the next game on Wednesday will be worth around £8 million.  The associated Lotto Raffle game on Wednesday will also offer 500 guaranteed prizes of £20,000 each. In the meantime, over 254,000 consolation prizes were landed in the most recent game, and the biggest of those went to six tickets that won £66,300 each by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. The complete schedule of prizes won can be viewed on the Results page at Lottery.co.uk.

Irish Lottery

01 – 06 – 12 – 21 – 23 – 45 Bonus Ball: 17

The Irish Lottery jackpot had a final value of just over €2.92 million, and it will be worth around €3.50 million in the next game thanks to no player being able to match all six main numbers. There was one ticket that won a second tier prize of €25,000 by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number, and another 48 tickets matched five main numbers only to win €1,304 each. There were more than 38,000 prizes won at the lower levels, and you can see full details of all of those by visiting the Results page at IrishLottery.com.

Health Lottery

11 – 12 – 29 – 37 – 50 Bonus Ball: 32

As always, Health Lottery players last night were pursuing a top prize of £100,000 for matching all five main numbers, and the good news is that one player succeeded in doing exactly that. There were plenty of consolation prizes won too, with more than 11,000 tickets winning cash sums by matching fewer numbers, with or without the Bonus Ball.

SuperEnalotto

01 – 13 – 24 – 26 – 29 – 77 Jolly: 60 SuperStar: 06

€16.3 million was the jackpot awaiting any player who could match all six main numbers in the Saturday night SuperEnalotto game this week, and there will be even more cash up for grabs in the next game because no player was able to do that. The second prize tier was also without any winners, but 11 lucky players won a third tier prize of €24,138 each by matching five main numbers only. There were over 41,000 smaller prizes won by standard entries, whilst more than 47,000 SuperStar entries also won prizes for their owners. The next SuperEnalotto jackpot will be worth an estimated €16.8 million.

Powerball

14 – 15 – 19 – 31 – 56 Powerball: 05

The Powerball jackpot had rolled up to a very impressive $90 million for the most recent game, but it didn't stop there, and no top prize winner last night means that the next game will offer an estimated $100 million. Two tickets matched all five main numbers to win the life-changing sum of $1 million each, and there were ten times as many tickets that won their owners $10,000 each by matching four main numbers as well as the Powerball. The total number of prizes won by standard entries was in excess of 363,000, and prizes were also won by more than 87,000 Power Play entries.

Australian Saturday Lotto

06 – 08 – 09 – 19 – 21 – 41 Supplementary Numbers: 02 and 34

Two of the main numbers that were drawn in last night’s Australian Saturday Lotto game had also been drawn exactly one week earlier. We don’t know if any of the winning players entered the numbers 06 and 21 because of their previous appearance, but seven lucky tickets matched all six of the main numbers to take an equal share of a jackpot that was worth AUD$4,215,285. There were 69 winners at Division 2, and each of those won AUD$8,281 for matching five main numbers and one of the supplementary numbers, whilst more than 471,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. There will be another jackpot of around AUD$4 million to play for in the next Australian Saturday Lotto game, which will of course be the last one of 2014.
