Lottery Results for Saturday 18th April, 2015

The Saturday Powerball jackpot was landed for the second week in a row last night, and once again the top prize went to a single ticket. Most of the other games that we spotlight at the weekends resulted in jackpot rollovers, but millions of consolation prizes were won at the lower levels and there were multiple jackpot winners in the Australian Saturday Lotto game. How much were the landed jackpots worth, and where did the Powerball winner buy their lucky ticket? The answers to both of those questions, and more, will be revealed as we present the lottery results for Saturday 18th April, 2015…

UK Lotto

01 – 23 – 27 – 36 – 43 – 45 Bonus Ball: 10

There was a brand new jackpot available to UK Lotto players last night, but none of the tickets that had been purchased for the game were able to match all six main numbers, so that jackpot rolled over. The good news is that five tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second tier prize worth £72,950 each, and 168 tickets won £1,843 each by matching five main numbers only. Over 242,000 smaller prizes were won at the lower tiers, and the Lotto Raffle draw awarded a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 players. The next game on Wednesday 22nd April will now offer a jackpot worth around £5.8 million.

Irish Lottery

06 – 12 – 27 – 35 – 36 – 42 Bonus Ball: 41

The Irish Lotto jackpot rolled over in the two draws leading up to last night’s game, in which it rolled over once again. There were no winning tickets at the second tier either, but 43 tickets managed to win €1,462 each by matching five main numbers only. Another 67 tickets matched four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number to win €235 each, and more than 33,000 entries matched fewer numbers to secure smaller prizes. The jackpot in the next Irish Lotto game on Wednesday will now be worth around €3.5 million.

SuperEnalotto

10 – 11 – 18 – 36 – 47 – 85 Jolly: 48 SuperStar: 06

The SuperEnalotto jackpot last night was worth an estimated €7.4 million to the player who could match all six of the main numbers that were drawn, but unfortunately no player succeeded in that task. The second prize tier was also vacant of winners, but 11 tickets were able to win €22,071 each by matching five main numbers only. There were more than 35,000 prizes won at the lower levels, and over 44,000 prizes were won by successful SuperStar entries. There will now be a jackpot of around €7.8 million for players to try and win in the next game on Tuesday 21st April.

Powerball

13 – 22 – 23 – 29 – 31 Powerball: 17

We have already established that the Powerball jackpot was won last night, but we haven’t said how much it was worth or where the winning ticket had been purchased. The answers to both of those questions are $50 million and Puerto Rico, so well done to the lucky player concerned. There were two tickets that each made their owners $1 million richer by matching five main numbers only, and 23 tickets won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball. Over 326,000 prizes were won by standard entries, and more than 84,000 Power Play entries also proved successful. There will be a brand new jackpot of $40 million up for grabs in the next game on Wednesday.

Australian Saturday Lotto

04 – 14 – 16 – 18 – 26 – 27 Supplementary Numbers: 05 and 10

Australian Saturday Lotto players had a brand new jackpot of AU$4,236,300 to pursue in the game this week, and we are pleased to say that four of them matched the six main numbers required to catch it, giving each of the winners a personal share worth AU$1,059,075. Another 69 players won AU$8,323 each at Division 2 by matching five of the main numbers plus one of the supplementary numbers, and over 591,000 tickets won prizes at the lower divisions by matching fewer numbers. The jackpot in the next game on Saturday 25th April will once again be worth an advertised AU$4 million.
