Lottery Results for Saturday 12th September, 2015

It was the Powerball game that dominated the world lottery stage last night, with a multi-rollover jackpot of $167 million awaiting any player who could match all five main numbers as well as the Powerball itself. That prize eluded lottery players once again, but some very nice jackpots were won in the UK and Australia, and millions of non-jackpot prizes were won by participants who went some of the way to matching all of the numbers required, but couldn’t quite manage to go all the way. The lottery results for Saturday 12th September, 2015, were as follows…

UK Lotto

14 – 20 – 28 – 31 – 40 – 46 Bonus Ball: 44

The UK Lotto jackpot weighed in with a final value of £4,668,787 last night, and we are pleased to report that a single ticket won that sum outright by matching all six main numbers. A quartet of tickets won £93,164 each at the second tier by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, and another 217 entries matched five main numbers only to win £1,458 each. More than 212,000 smaller prizes were won at the lower levels, and the Lotto Raffle game awarded a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 winners. There will now be a brand new jackpot of around £2 million to play for in the next game on Wednesday 16th September.

Irish Lottery

06 – 12 – 15 – 17 – 32 – 40 Bonus Ball: 21

The Irish Lotto jackpot had rolled over in each of the nine draws leading up to last night’s game, and it didn’t stop there because none of the tickets entered for the draw managed to match all of the numbers needed to win it. The good news is that two tickets won their owners €96,283 each by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, and ten times as many winners landed a prize of €2,129 each by matching five main numbers only. Over 46,000 tickets won smaller prizes, and the jackpot for the next game on Wednesday is expected to be worth around €7 million.

SuperEnalotto

11 – 24 – 46 – 48 – 68 – 82 Jolly: 05 SuperStar: 69

Italian lottery players were just six main numbers away from winning a SuperEnalotto jackpot worth €15.3 million last night, but none of the tickets entered for the game succeeded in achieving that feat. No ticket won a second tier prize either, but four entries won their owners €57,925 each by matching five main numbers only. There were more than 26,000 tickets that won smaller prizes by matching four or three main numbers, and over 45,000 SuperStar entries also won prizes. The estimated value of the jackpot for the next game on Tuesday 15th September is €15.7 million.

Powerball

02 – 03 – 13 – 16 – 35 Powerball: 27

As we said at the beginning of this results summary, no player was able to match all of the numbers needed to win the jackpot in the Powerball game, so the $167 million jackpot rolled over. Once again, there were plenty of consolation prizes on hand to give players something to smile about, and two lucky players are now $1 million richer each after matching all five main numbers. There were 19 tickets that won $10,000 each at the third tier, and more than 485,000 tickets won more modest sums. In addition, prizes were also won by over 107,000 Power Play entries. The advertised jackpot for the next game on Wednesday is $185 million.

Australian Saturday Lotto

16 – 17 – 21 – 29 – 38 – 42 Supplementary Numbers: 11 and 27

The jackpot reverted to its normal size in this week’s Australian Saturday Lotto game, and the final value of the top prize was AU$4,271,236. There were six tickets that matched all six main numbers, so each of the winning owners is now AU$711,872 richer than they were previously. Division 2 saw 48 tickets win AU$12,086 by matching five main numbers plus one of the supplementary numbers, and over 599,000 entries won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. There will be another jackpot of around AU$4 million for players to chase in the next draw on Saturday 19th September.
