Halloween Brings Multiple Rollovers

The last few days saw Halloween celebrations taking place around the globe, and lottery players were hoping to see some suitably monstrous jackpots landed. As things turned out, the jackpots proved as elusive as transient spirits, with rollovers in all of the most popular games. The good news is that millions of consolation prizes were won, so if you haven’t yet checked your tickets you may want to do so now as we present our whistle-stop summary of the main events…

EuroJackpot

05 – 15 – 16 – 36 – 37 Euro Numbers: 03 and 05

A prize of €18 million awaited the player who could match all five main numbers and both Euro numbers in this week’s EuroJackpot draw, but no player was quite that fortunate. On a much brighter note, a single ticket matched all five main numbers and one Euro number to secure a life-changing second tier prize worth €1,116,663, so well done to the lucky owner. Five tickets won €78,823 each by matching the five main numbers only, and over 561,000 prizes were won by entries matching fewer numbers. There will now be a triple rollover jackpot of around €24 million for players to pursue in the next game on Friday 6th November.

EuroMillions

08 – 13 – 17 – 21 – 34 Lucky Stars: 06 and 07

EuroMillions players were seven numbers away from winning a jackpot worth £33.9 million (€47.4 million) on Friday, but that prize also rolled over. There were eight second tier prize winners, and each of those landed £150,386 (€192,935) by matching the five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Star numbers. Another 11 tickets won £36,457 (€46,772) each by matching the five main numbers only, and more than 2.84 million tickets won smaller prizes. The jackpot in the next game on Tuesday 3rd November is now expected to be worth around £39 million (€54 million).

Mega Millions

17 – 41 – 51 – 53 – 56 Mega Ball: 15

The prize for matching all five main numbers plus the Mega Ball number in the Friday night Mega Millions game was $129 million, and the next draw will offer even more after yet another rollover took place. One player won $1 million by matching the five main numbers only, whilst 24 tickets matched four main numbers plus the Mega Ball to win $5,000 each. More than 1.69 million smaller prizes were landed at the lower levels, and there will now by a jackpot of around $144 million to play for in the next Mega Millions draw on Tuesday.

Powerball

09 – 20 – 25 – 47 – 68 Powerball: 07

There was no jackpot winner in the Powerball game last night, so the advertised $127 million top prize rolled over to the next game. There were no winners at the second tier either, but 16 tickets won their owners $10,000 each by matching four of the main numbers plus the Powerball, and over 592,000 other tickets won lesser sums by matching fewer numbers. More than 149,000 prizes were also won by Power Play entries, and the next game on Wednesday will now offer a jackpot with an advertised value of $142 million.

UK Lotto

26 – 39 – 41 – 42 – 55 – 59 Bonus Ball: 16

The Saturday night UK Lotto game boasted a rollover jackpot which was worth £6.67 million, and another rollover means that there will be even more on offer on Wednesday. One ticket matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number to win £99,522, whilst 47 tickets won £2,228 each by matching five main numbers only. There were over 1.11 million prizes won by tickets matching fewer numbers, and the Wednesday Double Rollover jackpot will be worth an estimated £8.8 million.
