EuroMillions Results for Friday 5th September 2014

A series of four consecutive rollovers helped the EuroMillions jackpot to reach a final value of just over £37 million (€47 million) last night, but none of the tickets purchased for the game succeeded in matching all seven of the numbers drawn. That extended the number of rollovers to five in a row, and it sets things up for a £43 million (€54 million) jackpot game on Tuesday. In the meantime, more than 2.33 million consolation prizes were landed, so well done to everyone who emerged from the game as a winner. The EuroMillions results for Friday 5th September, 2014, were as follows...

EuroMillions Plus: (09) (13) (27) (42) (44)

Joker: 6 469 519

As was the case exactly one week earlier, five EuroMillions tickets matched all five of the main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a second tier prize, and this week that prize was worth £217,151 (€299,036) each. Another 13 tickets won a third tier prize of £27,839 (€38,337) each by matching five main numbers only, and 105 entries won £1,723 (€2,373) each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. The full list of prize amounts won in last night's game can be found by visiting the EuroMillions Results page at Euro-Millions.com.

Irish Lottery players who were hoping to win the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus game last night were disappointed because none of the participants could match all five of the numbers drawn. There were 78 winning tickets at the second tier prize level, and each of those won their owners €2,000 each by matching four numbers. At the third tier, 2,305 tickets matched three numbers to win €20 each.

The main numbers drawn in the EuroJackpot game this week were 26, 31, 33, 39 and 40, and the Euro numbers were 05 and 06. The jackpot was worth an advertised €51 million, but none of the tickets entered for the game were able to match all seven numbers, so the top prize rolled over yet again. The good news is that one ticket matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win a second tier prize worth €948,748, and another six tickets won €41,112 each by matching the five main numbers only.  There were over 818,000 prizes won at the lower consolation levels, and there will be a jackpot of around €60 million to play for in the next game on Friday 12th September.
