The lottery results for Saturday 5th April helped millions of people to win a cash prize of some kind, but the big question is whether or not anyone managed to win themselves the kind of financial freedom that most people can only ever dream about. The Powerball game in the USA boasted the biggest jackpot of the night, with a top prize worth $70 million, and in Europe the SuperEnalotto and Irish Lottery games were the main eye-catchers, with jackpots of €11.7 million and €6 million, respectively. To find out what happened in those games and more, read on…
03 – 07 – 20 – 31 – 43 – 45 Bonus Ball: 41
The estimated value of the UK Lotto jackpot was £4.4 million, and the actual value of the top prize wasn't very far from that, weighing in at £4,334,794. There were no jackpot winners this time, but three tickets won a second tier prize worth £115,333 each by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. Another 249 tickets won £1,179 each by matching five main numbers only, and over 300,000 smaller prizes were won by tickets matching four or three numbers. There were 50 winners of £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle draw and there will be 100 winners in the next draw this Wednesday thanks to the jackpot rollover in the main game. The complete schedule of prizes won last night can be viewed on the Results page over at Lottery.co.uk.
01 – 07 – 08 – 14 – 41 – 45 Bonus Ball: 21
The Irish Lottery jackpot had been rolling for a few weeks prior to the most recent draw, and that helped the jackpot to reach a final value of €6,023,939. No ticket won that prize, but one ticket succeeded in matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a consolation prize worth €25,000. There were 35 tickets that matched five main numbers only to win €2,059 each, and more than 40,000 smaller prizes were landed by tickets matching fewer numbers. The complete breakdown of prizes won last night can be seen by visiting the Results page at IrishLottery.com.
03 – 25 – 34 – 42 – 49 Bonus Ball: 15
Health Lottery fans were unlucky in the top prize department last night, with no ticket succeeding in matching all five of the main numbers drawn. The good news, as always, is that there were plenty of winners at the consolation levels, with over 60,000 tickets landing their owners prizes worth £10, £20, £50, £250 or £10,000 each. Players who matched just two main numbers won a free Quick Pick ticket for the next game.
09 – 31 – 33 – 37 – 79 – 86 Jolly: 12 SuperStar: 50
We have already said that there was a jackpot of around €11.7 million for Italian lottery players to pursue in the SuperEnalotto game last night, and the next game will offer an even bigger jackpot because no ticket was able to match all six main numbers. The second prize tier was also vacant, but six tickets won their owners €48,025 each by matching five main numbers only. Over 30,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching four or three numbers, and more than 55,000 SuperStar entries also won prizes of up to €1,934 each.
11 – 21 – 26 – 33 – 34 Powerball: 29
The Powerball jackpot was the biggest of the bunch last night, and had an advertised value of $70 million. No player could match all of the numbers drawn, but four tickets made their owners millionaires by matching five main numbers only to win $1 million each. There were 13 tickets that won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball, and the total number of winning tickets exceeded 382,000. More than 83,000 prizes were won by Power Play entries, and the next Powerball game will offer a jackpot worth around $80 million.

Two of the main numbers drawn in last night’s Australian Saturday Lotto game (22 and 29) had also been drawn exactly one week earlier, and anyone who won a prize with them will be very glad that they reappeared so soon, especially the seven players who matched all six main numbers to share a jackpot worth AUD$4,087,078. There were 47 tickets that matched five main numbers and one supplementary number to win a Division 2 prize of AUD$11,792 each, and over 459,000 tickets won smaller prizes. There will be another AUD$4 million jackpot to be won in the next game on Saturday 12th April.
