Lottery Results for Saturday 12th July 2014

Jackpot wins were fairly thin on the ground last night, and it was the UK Lotto and Australian Lotto games that delivered the goods at the highest level. Of course, consolation prizes were won across the board, and some of those prizes were life-changing in their own right, with second tier winners in the Powerball game proving the point by picking up a cool $1 million each. For more news on that and other developments, read on as we present our whistle-stop tour of the lottery results for Saturday 12th July, 2014...

Lottery Results for Saturday 12th July 2014

UK Lotto

03 – 19 – 23 – 28 – 37 – 43 Bonus Ball: 34

There was a brand new jackpot of £3,574,539 on offer in the UK Lotto game last night after two players shared the top prize in the midweek game on Wednesday. Just one ticket proved able to match the six main numbers drawn this weekend, so the owner of that entry won the top prize outright. Six tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number to win a second tier prize worth £47,552 each, and more than 315,000 tickets won smaller prizes at the lower levels. The full schedule of prizes landed can be found via the Results page at Lottery.co.uk, and the jackpot in the next game will be worth an estimated £2.1 million.

Irish Lottery

05 – 19 – 28 – 29 – 39 – 43 Bonus Ball: 18

Plenty of tickets were purchased for the Saturday night Irish Lottery draw, but none of them succeeded in winning the jackpot by matching all six main numbers. No player won a second tier prize either, so the biggest winners in the game were the owners of 34 tickets that matched five main numbers only to secure a third tier prize of €1,851 each. There were more than 33,000 consolation prizes won in total, and the next Irish Lottery game on Wednesday will offer a jackpot worth around €3 million. In the meantime, the complete prize breakdown for last night’s draw can be found by visiting the Results page at IrishLottery.com.

Health Lottery

08 – 11 – 14 – 18 – 37 Bonus Ball: 46

Health Lottery players had seen one player win the top prize on Saturday 5th July, so they were hopeful that someone – and preferably several people – would succeed in a similar manner this week. The bad news is that no ticket was able to match all five main numbers, so the £100,000 prize eluded players everywhere. On a more positive note, more than 14,000 tickets matched fewer numbers, with or without the Bonus ball numbers, to win a consolation prize of some kind.

SuperEnalotto

11 – 20 – 48 – 52 – 70 – 74 Jolly: 49 SuperStar: 36

SuperEnalotto players are a patient bunch, with jackpot rollovers outnumbering jackpot wins by a significant margin, and fans of the popular Italian game will have to keep the Champagne on ice for a while longer after no ticket won the top prize on Saturday night. No player won a second tier prize either, but there were seven tickets that won €36,911 each by matching five main numbers only. More than 33,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching four or three main numbers, and there were over 45,000 SuperStar entries that also won prizes of up to €29,137 each. The next SuperEnalotto game will now offer a jackpot that is expected to be worth around €15.6 million.

Powerball

02 – 03 – 07 – 23 – 51 Powerball: 26

A brand new jackpot in the Powerball game last night gave players the chance to boost their wealth by around $40 million, but no ticket was able to match all of the numbers required to do that, so the jackpot rolled over to the next game. The good news is that four tickets matched five main numbers without the Powerball to win a second tier prize worth $1 million, so the game was still able to bestow millionaire status on a chosen few. Over 326,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers, with or without the Powerball, and more than 70,714 Power Play entries also won prizes. The Wednesday Powerball game will offer a jackpot worth around $50 million.

Australian Saturday Lotto

01 – 03 – 15 – 19 – 42 – 44 Supplementary Numbers: 36 and 37

A brand new jackpot that had been estimated to be worth around AUD$4 million, and which eventually weighed in at an even bigger AUD$4,155,705, was waiting in the wings for any player who could match all six main numbers in the Australian Saturday Lotto game.  Three players succeeded in achieving that feat, so they shared the jackpot equally and can now look forward to having an extra AUD$1,385,235 each in the bank. Another 54 tickets matched five main numbers and one supplementary number to win AUD$10,430 each, and over 450,000 prizes were won by tickets matching fewer numbers. There will be another jackpot of around AUD$4 million to play for in the next game on Saturday 19th July.
