EuroMillions Results for Friday 8th August 2014

The EuroMillions game last night boasted a double rollover jackpot worth £24.7 million (€30.9million), and the next one will offer an even bigger prize of around £29 million (€37 million) thanks to no player matching all seven of the numbers required. As always, there were twelve tiers of non-jackpot prizes to console players who matched at least a few of the numbers drawn, and some of those prizes were large enough to have changed the lives of the players who won them. The EuroMillions results for Friday 8th August, 2014, were as follows...

EuroMillions Plus: (07) (14) (27) (35) (48)

The consolation prizes that were most likely to change the lives of those who won them were landed  by four tickets that matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star. The prize for that considerable achievement  was £256,541 (€355,306) each, so well done to the players concerned. Another 11 tickets won £31,095 (€43,067) each by matching five main numbers only, and 42 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £4,072 (€5,639) each. The total number of prizes landed in the Friday night game was 2,047,809, and the complete breakdown of those can be found by visiting the EuroMillions Results page at Euro-Millions.com.

Over in Ireland, there were no tickets able to match all five of the numbers drawn in the Friday night EuroMillions Plus draw, so none of the players involved in the game were able to win a top prize of €500,000. The good news is that 39 tickets matched four numbers to win their owners a second tier prize of €2,000 each, and a third tier prize of €20 went to each of 2,036 tickets that matched three numbers.

The main numbers drawn in the EuroJackpot game this week were 15, 19, 21, 34 and 40, and the Euro numbers were 03 and 04. A jackpot of €26 million was waiting to be won, but none of the tickets entered for the game succeeded in matching all seven numbers, so the top prize rolled over for the seventh draw in a row. There were two tickets that matched all five main numbers and one of the Euro numbers to win €261,779 each, whilst three tickets won €45,375 each by matching five main numbers only. Over 485,000 tickets picked up smaller consolation prizes by matching fewer numbers, and the next EuroJackpot game will offer a top prize that it expected to be worth around €31 million.
