EuroMillions Results for Friday 29th August 2014

The final EuroMillions game of August offered a double rollover jackpot worth £24.4 million (€30.8 million), and we can report that the first game of September will offer an even bigger triple rollover jackpot of around £29 million (€37 million) thanks to no player winning the top prize last night. The good news is that over 2.29 million consolation prizes were won, so players who have not yet checked their tickets would do well to do so now. The EuroMillions results for Friday 29th August, 2014, were as follows…

EuroMillions Results for Friday 29th August 2014

EuroMillions Plus: (13) (22) (30) (31) (35)

Joker: 6 159 440

There were five tickets that were able to match all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars to win a second tier prize of £207,980 (€285,439) each, and another two tickets won £173,316 (€237,866) each by matching five main numbers only. The fourth tier prize level saw 84 tickets win £2,063 (€2,831) each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars, and all other winning tickets landed smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. The complete schedule of prizes won in last night's game can be viewed by visiting the EuroMillions Results page at Euro-Millions.com.

The ability to match the five numbers drawn in the EuroMillions Plus game was the only thing that stood between Irish Lottery players and the top prize of €500,000 last night, but none of the participants managed to demonstrate that ability. The good news is that 36 tickets won a second tier prize of €2,000 each by matching four numbers, whilst the smallest prize of €20 was won by each of 2,102 tickets that matched three numbers.

In the EuroJackpot game last night, players had the chance to win a top prize of €43 million. The main numbers drawn were 01, 08, 09, 12 and 37, and the Euro numbers were 02 and 06. No ticket matched all of those numbers and so the jackpot rolled over for the tenth game in a row. On a brighter note, two tickets won their owners €401,877 each by matching all five main numbers and one Euro number, and a single ticket at the third tier matched the five main numbers only to win €208,976. More than 836,000 tickets won smaller prizes at the lower levels, and the next EuroJackpot game will offer a top prize worth around €51 million.
