World Lottery Results for 5th 6th December 2008

It’s getting closer and closer to Christmas now and a lottery win might be just the thing we are all hoping for to give our bank balances a boost for the festive period. If you’ve been playing the selected lotteries from our site then here are the world lottery results for 5th and 6th December 2008.
The UK National Lottery draw held on 6th December 2008 had a jackpot worth just over £5 million, there were no main winners making Wednesdays rollover draw worth £7.5 million. The UK National Lottery numbers were 10, 12, 20, 37, 39, 48, the bonus ball was 31. Although there were no jackpot winners, eleven players matched five main numbers and the bonus ball each winning just over £140,000, there were lots of smaller winners too so if you bought a ticket then check your numbers now.
Fridays Euromillions Lottery produced the only jackpot winner of the weekend with one lucky player scooping over £12 million. The winning numbers were 4, 8, 21, 35, 45, with 5 and 8 as the lucky stars. There were also eighteen players who matched five numbers and one lucky star each winning over £100,000
Friday nights Mega Millions draw also produced no winners, pushing the huge jackpot up to $170 million for Tuesdays draw. The numbers drawn on 5th December were 21, 27, 46, 52, 55, the Mega Ball was 14. Although there were no main jackpot winners eight lucky players matched the five main numbers without the Mega Ball each winning $250,000.
It seems it’s world lottery rollovers right across the board as the Irish Lottery also produced no winners. The winning numbers were 3, 18, 28, 31, 35, 41 with 29 as the bonus ball. In this draw just one lucky player matched five numbers and the bonus ball winning €25,000. The €6,389,171 available in that draw will now rollover onto Wednesdays jackpot.
It’s another rollover for Italy’s Superenalotto as no players matched all the winning numbers in the draw held on Saturday 6th December. The winning numbers were 30, 46, 54, 56, 72, 86 and the bonus ball was 22. The jackpot will now rollover creating a super jackpot of €11,700,000 for the next draw.
And finally in last nights USA Powerball Lottery draw there were again no winning tickets making a rollover for the next draw of $35 million. The winning numbers for the Powerball Lottery were 9, 35, 39, 43, 53 with a Powerball 10.
So if you were hoping for a jackpot win in this weekends world lottery draws you and many others will have been disappointed as it was lottery rollovers right across the board. Do check your tickets though as there were lots of smaller winners. Good luck for all the midweek rollovers!
