Winning Couple Almost Threw Away Lotto Ticket

Kate Engolia and her husband decided to have a sort through their old lottery tickets after the August 1st draw of the Louisiana lottery but thinking they had missed the jackpot once again the winning couple almost threw away their lotto ticket. Thankfully they rechecked their tickets to find that they were indeed winners.
As her husband was about to throw the lottery tickets out he decided to have one last check, that’s when he noticed one lotto ticket stuck to the back of another obscuring the winning numbers worth over $700,000!
They checked their tickets carefully but none of them matched, then after rechecking called his wife to say he had a winner but she didn’t believe him. They then double checked the numbers again on the lottery web site and found that the ticket was indeed a winner.
Mrs Engolia and her husband regularly play the three Louisiana lottery games, the Easy 5, Lotto and Powerball Lottery but have never had a big win before, they are now ecstatic after winning almost three quarters of a million.
Even after taxes this win will be worth $503,000, an amount that Mrs Engolia and her family intend on using to buy their own home.
