Still no winner in Italian Lottery

SuperEnalottoThe SuperEnalotto has rumbled on for weeks and weeks, climbing higher and higher but there is still no winner in the Italian Lottery which is now €117.5 million for tonight’s draw. It’s been months since any lucky player matched those six winning numbers and it poses the question ‘Is the Italian Lottery too hard to win?’ It’s certainly an interesting question, does a lottery continue to be fun when there are months between winners?

Maybe that’s what the Italians like? Big jackpots and record breaking amounts of cash but surely €2 million won every week would serve the country, its lottery and its winners better. After all, what use is €100 million in a country where poverty is rife.

Although the SuperEnalotto has gone through many changes over the years, it is one of the oldest lottery draws in the world. It’s thought that the original ‘lottery’ idea probably originated in the region making the SuperEnalotto the world’s oldest lottery.

To win the jackpot in the SuperEnalotto Italy you have to match all six winning balls to the numbers on your lottery ticket. Just the same as our own lottery but the difference being that to win the SuperEnalotto ,you must choose your six balls from a pool of 90, making the odds of matching all the numbers very low. The reasons rollovers such as the current €117.5 million are so very common.

That said, someone has to win of course, eventually and if you think €117.5 million is worth a wager then you can buy tickets for the draw now by clicking the banner above.
