Weekend Powerball Jackpot still unclaimed

A $74 million lottery jackpot, scooped last Saturday night in the US is still waiting for a winner. The weekend Powerball jackpot is still unclaimed, despite being worth a staggering $74 million. Usually a lottery winner would be expected to get in touch with lottery officials before the next draw, but with tonight’s Powerball Lottery draw looming, still no ticket holder has come forward to claim the big lotto prize.
Tonight’s Powerball Lottery jackpot is $20 million, but on Saturday, a staggering $74 million had built up after several rollover draws. So far, the only details released by the Powerball Lottery is that the winner is from Indiana, and should they opt for the cash amount, as most lottery players do, then they will collect $37.7 million before taxes.
However, before they can collect this life-changing lottery prize, someone has to come forward and actually claim. There are many reasons why this ticket may not have been claimed, maybe it’s a lottery syndicate, or just someone taking their time and taking in the news of the win. Hopefully the ticket holder will have checked the lottery ticket and know it is a winner, because this is a life-changing prize to miss out on.
From the date of the draw, this lottery winner has 180 days to claim in Indiana, so hopefully they’ll come forward soon and claim. Congratulations to the $74 million Powerball Lottery winner, and good luck if you’re buying tickets in tonight’s Powerball Lottery draw!
