The first draw of the week took place for the UK National Lottery last night and there was a Wednesday night starting jackpot that came out at just over £2.3 million available to win. However, the question is did any players become top prize winners last night? Well the UK National Lottery results for the 15th February 2012 show that in fact 290,060 ticket holders won a prize in this lottery game last night and two of these were top prize winners, meaning that they split the jackpot to take home over £1.8 million each.

To add to the two jackpot winners last night there were eight players who matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win the second tier prize which means that they each won £90,778. The most amount of winners came from the lowest UK National Lottery prize tier and won the only guaranteed amount, which is £10, by matching just three of the numbers drawn.
Like all results from any world lottery is it always interesting to see if any of the numbers drawn appear in any of the most/least drawn statically categories for the UK National Lottery. Out of all the numbers drawn last night the highest number drawn, which was 44, is actually one of the most common selected lottery numbers to be drawn in this lottery and last night it made its 229th appearance in the UK National Lottery results.
As the jackpot was won last night by two lucky ticket holders who matched all six of the main numbers drawn, it means that the UK National Lottery jackpot goes back to basics again for the fourth time in a row so it is now estimated at £4.1 million for Saturday night’s draw.
