UK National Lottery jackpot expires Monday

A few weeks ago we brought you news that a UK National Lottery jackpot of £3.6 million was sitting unclaimed. Well the UK National Lottery jackpot expires Monday and that means it is the winners very last chance to claim before the whole prize, plus any interest it has accrued expires. Unclaimed prizes are fairly common on the UK National Lottery but they’re not usually quite as big as this prize, won by matching all six winning numbers on the UK National Lottery draw held on 23rd September 2009.
The winning lottery ticket was sold in the Constituency of Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey and matched all six winning numbers in the UK National Lottery draw held on 23rd September 2009. The winning numbers in the draw were 23 – 25 – 28 – 41 – 46 – 47, the bonus 27 yet despite many calls and a national appeal, the lottery winner is yet to come forward to claim the jackpot prize.

If not claimed by Monday 22nd March, the prize of £3,681,197 and any interest it has accrued will go back into the fund for good causes so it really is your last chance to check all those old pockets, forgotten handbags and the kitchen drawers for that ticket as it is worth a life-changing amount of cash.
In other news, last night’s UK National Lottery draw went off without a hitch, the jackpot at £2.9 million was higher than expected and one single winner matched all the winning numbers to scoop the lot. The winning numbers in the draw were 16 – 30 – 34 – 37 – 41 – 42, the bonus ball 5.
