Two Winners Share Massive Euromillions Jackpot

It had started to look like it was never going to be won, as rollover after rollover pushed the Euromillions Jackpot up to £92 million it was starting to look like it was going to be a record breaking win for one lucky player. As two players share the massive Euromillions jackpot I’m sure you all want to know just who won.
Well the share ensured that it wasn’t a record breaking win but I’m sure the two lucky winners from Spain and Portugal won’t be complaining at the £46 million they received as the two winners shared this massive Euromillions jackpot.
It was one of the biggest rollovers the Euromillions had seen to date and lottery fever took over as a record amount of tickets were sold across Europe for the draw. Had the draw been won by on single ticketholder it would have been the record prize for any worldwide lottery. The jackpot was last won on July 18th, making this a five times rollover.
The two winners to share the Euromillions jackpot are from Spain and Portugal, a further thirteen tickets matched five numbers and one lucky star to win £363,663, seven of these are from the UK.
The winning numbers were 7, 12, 16, 17 and 39 the lucky star numbers were 3 and 8. The share means that the biggest Euromillions winner is still Dolores McNamara from Ireland who scooped £77 million on a rollover Euromillions draw in July 2005.
