Two share the Euromillions Mega Jackpot

£113 million made it one of the biggest lottery jackpots ever seen in Europe and players were out in their droves to buy tickets. The tension has been palpable all day as players right across the nine European Euromillions countries and can you believe that two players share the massive Euromillions Lottery jackpot and both winners are from here in the UK! I'm sure you'd agree that's fantastic news.

In the event the Euromillions Mega Jackpot rollover hit £112 million, one of the highest ever seen on the lottery. It’s little wonder players from all around Europe were in a frenzy over the draw which went off at 10pm Paris without hitch.

The winning numbers in the £112 million Mega Jackpot rollover draw were 1 – 5 – 18 – 38 – 45, lucky stars 4 and 6. Two lucky players matched all the winning numbers giving them each just over £56 million and that makes this UK Lottery win a brand new record!

Les Scadding set the UK lottery record late last year on a half share of a £90 million Euromillions Lottery jackpot, he and his wife walked away with £45.5 million and set a new UK lotto record but this win will now smash that record and propel the winner straight to the Times rich list.

That’s above some pretty famous celebrities too, £56 million will pretty much buy you anything.
