Two Britons win Euromillions

Euromillions The suspense has been building up for weeks as draw after draw the Euromillions Lottery produced no winners. Last night there was £91 million up for grabs after the lottery had rolled over five times but there will be no more rollovers as two Britons win the Euromillions Lottery netting over £45 million each. If either share is won by a single player and not a syndicate it will be the biggest single lottery win in UK history and to hear that both halves have gone to UK players is just amazing news.

Until now the biggest UK lottery win was the £35.4 million scooped by Angela Kelly back in 2007 but as two Britons win the Euromillions Lottery their jackpot far eclipses that win, with £91 million up for grabs in the draw which gives each of the winners £45.5 million each.

It’s not yet known if either of those tickets was bought by a lottery syndicate of whether each ticket was held by a single ticket holder, more details are likely to be released throughout the week.

We couldn’t wait to bring you this news this morning, there are so many big Euromillions lottery jackpots and so often we see them going to players in the rest of Europe like the last record lottery draw back in May when a Spanish lady walked away with £110 million.

Of course, now starts the Millionaire Raffle which means Euromillions Lottery tickets will from now on cost £2 each but every week one UK lottery player will win £1 million. The estimated jackpot for the Euromillions Lottery is £13 million but even if it rolls over someone in the UK will become an instant lottery millionaire, guaranteed!
