The eighth biggest ever Irish Lottery win has been collected at Lottery headquarters in Dublin today as a very lucky Tipperary couple celebrate their Irish Lottery win. The winning numbers for the draw held on Saturday 15th November 2008 were 04, 05, 23, 31, 35, 38 with a bonus ball of 36.

The couple who have exercised their right to anonymity selected their winning numbers based on the day they were married coupled with two random numbers. The date is clearly a lucky day for them giving them not only a successful marriage but a massive lottery win too. This is the second Irish Lottery win for the couple having already scooped €1,200 on a match 5 prize on the lottery last year.

The €16 Multidraw ticket was purchased at the Supervalu store in Main Street, Cashel on November 7th 2008 and no doubt that store will now be cashing in on its lucky status.

It was a multi rollover jackpot making it the eighth biggest win since the Irish Lottery started back in 1987.

The couple say that they have no immediate plans for the win but will be enjoying a good family Christmas and making decisions after that.
