Three Share the Lotto Max Canada

We’ve been mentioning it for weeks on our lottery news pages, as the Friday Canada Lottery exceeds its $50 million ceiling. However, now finally the jackpot has been won, as three share the Lotto Max Canada and many more millionaires are created on the Maxmillions draws. By last night the Lotto Max Canada jackpot pool had reached a massive $90 million, which meant the main $50 million draw would be played alongside forty $1 million draws! Here’s what happened.

Three players matched all seven numbers in the main Lotto Max draw, sharing the $50 million jackpot, that’s three players each collecting over $16 million, but they weren’t the only winners in the draw. Due to the Lotto Max and Maxmillions feature, the other $40 million was given away in single $1 million draws, and many of them found winners last night.

In total there were 22 winning Maxmillions ticket, some of them shared two ways. Which means that in addition to the three jackpot winners, another 22 players scooped at least $500,000 each in the draw.

The Maxmillions jackpots that were not won, will now be added to the jackpot total for next Friday’s draw, and that means despite the big winners, next week’s Lotto Max Canada starting jackpot is a massive $32 million, even after the rollover has been won.
