Three is Luckiest for Lotto Wins

Research by the UK National Lottery has shown that three is luckiest for lotto wins. If lady luck comes knocking the door it’s likely to be at number three on your street as more people who live at number 3 win the National Lottery more than any other address or house number. In fact lottery players who live at number 3 have won an astonishing £77 million since the UK National Lottery launched in November 1994.
If you live next door don’t worry too much as the second luckiest house number in the UK National Lottery research is number 2, closely followed by 5, 6 and 4 completing the top five lucky house numbers for lottery wins.

The statistics by the UK National Lottery were compiled using the number of lottery winners scooping big prizes worth £50,000 or more and who had opted for publicity since the lottery launched.
So it would seem that three really is the magic number, don’t lose heart though, over 2,300 millionaires have been created since the lottery launched back in 1994 and many of those lived at all sorts of house numbers.
That said, if you live in Medway in Kent and live at number three it may be worth buying a couple of extra tickets, that’s because the ME Medway postcode has been ranked the luckiest lotto town in the UK for the second year running.
It seems you don’t need a lotto luck, more a lotto living in the right house to be a lucky lottery winner.
