The last Euro millions jackpot to be won was a Euromillions rollover €27 million jackpot won by one lucky player. Since then, the jackpot has been rolling over each draw, and it’s now more than double the last jackpot prize won.

As the Euromillions jackpot pot grows, the lower tier prizes grow too, and as the last draw shows, the possibility of becoming a millionaire without winning the jackpot, grows with each rollover. When the Weirs won the £161 million jackpot back in mid July, over a month ago, the Euro millions Lottery had rolled fourteen times, but while the jackpot may not have been won each, many EuroMillionaires were created from the lesser prizes. This was also helped along by prize money rolled down by the Euromillions jackpot cap, but we’re a long way from that stage yet with this five-times rollover draw.

Tonight’s Euromillions draw takes place at 8.45pm in Paris and is televised in most countries, allowing players to check their Euromillions results immediately after the draw. We’ll have a full breakdown of the results tomorrow on our lottery news pages, and possibly details of a big jackpot winner too.
