Texas Lottery player four times lucky

To win the lottery once in your life, is pretty much like being struck by lightening, and as we all know, lightening never strikes in the same place twice. Clearly no one told one Texan Lottery player this old adage as she has just collected her fourth win on the Texas Lottery. The Texas Lottery player is four times lucky and each win has been a seven figure number, making her about the luckiest world lottery player ever.
Joan Ginther, 63 from Bishop, Texas, clearly loves playing the lottery, having become a lottery millionaire four times in a row. This week Mrs Ginther claimed a massive $10 million on a Texas Lottery scratch-off ticket and that win takes her total to $20.4 million!
Of course, you call it lucky but there are not many lottery players prepared to pay $50 for a scratch-off ticket, maybe you have to already be a millionaire to be tempted although we’re not sure if you’d even keep playing scratchcards after three multi-million lottery wins.
Mrs Ginther’s good luck started back in 1993 when she was a half share of an $11 million Texas Lottery jackpot, then in 2006 she followed that up with a $2 million win in the Holiday Millionaire game, this was a scratch-off win, with tickets for the game costing $30. Then in 2008 another $3 million rolled in from a scratchcard win and now she’s scooped yet another $10 million.
This final bit of winning lottery news must confirm Mrs Ginther as the world’s luckiest lottery player, although we would be interested to see just how much she spends on lottery tickets and scratch-offs.
