In times of economic gloom you can rely on the world lottery pages to bring you the best of the warm-hearted news stories of the week and this one really should warm the cockles. A 13 strong works syndicate has won nearly £4 million on the National Lottery and after initial fears by the boss that all his staff would leave the Syndicate winners are to boost business by investing some of their shares in the company.
The syndicate members received £300,000 each after the win on the UK National Lottery and with good reason their boss Andy Whitaker feared they would leave their jobs but this is not to happen much to Mr Whitaker’s delight.

The motor repairs business has kept going throughout the recession despite other companies going bust around him but there can be no doubt that the business is suffering in the downturn and that’s why it was such great news to hear that each of the thirteen strong syndicate has vowed to plough money from their National Lottery win back into the business.
Mr Whitaker is quoted as saying what a great feeling it is to not only have such a big lottery win but also that the lads have clearly got the firm so close to their hearts. It will offer the company a great safeguard at such a difficult time and will ensure that the business rides the recession and comes out the other side better and stronger.
The UK National Lottery syndicate has been running for ten whole years and all the syndicate members are ‘over the moon’ with their win and are now planning a big party to celebrate.
