SuperEnalotto Italy getting interesting

SuperEnalottoAfter spending the best part of last year watching the SuperEnalotto Italy jackpot climb to the highest lottery jackpot in the world, it’s hard to see how that excitement will ever be topped. Well the SuperEnalotto Italy is getting interesting again and while it may not quite be at the record €177 million we saw at the end of last year, €14 million – which is tonight’s jackpot – is certainly not to be sniffed at. The SuperEnalotto has not been won yet in 2011 and it’s creating this steady climb week on week.

While it currently may not be anywhere near as high as the record jackpot won on the Italian Lottery, it is up there with the highest lottery jackpots in Europe. At €14 million it’s on a par with the Euromillions jackpot, as that will be €15 million for next week’s draw.

It’s not the world’s biggest lottery jackpot by far, but it is not worth keeping an eye on that jackpot. With draws three times a week and a lottery jackpot that is notoriously one of the hardest in the world to win, we could see the SuperEnalotto Italy now climb quite fast. Before we know it that jackpot is likely to be as high as €20 million and who knows where it will go from there!

The next SuperEnalotto Italy draw is this evening, held in Italy at 8pm. If you’re buying lottery tickets for the draw then good luck and don’t forget to check back here tomorrow for the lottery numbers!
