Of the numbers that appeared in tonight’s Lotto Superdraw results there were a couple of interesting numbers, six if you were a jackpot winner! The number 16 is one of the six least often picked numbers and tonight was only its 183rd outing since the game began where as the number 23 is from the six common lottery numbers making its 222nd appearance. The numbers 23 and 24 are also the 3rd most common consecutive pair and have been out together in 26 draws.
Prior to tonight's Superdraw there hadn't been on since 23rd September 2006 when two lucky winners shared a jackpot of £15 million. The only number in common between the two draws was the number 43, the difference being that in tonight's Lotto Superdraw results it came out as a bonus ball where as in the previous Superdraw it was one of the main numbers.
If you are a fan of the UK lotteries then you might be interested to learn that in the Thunderball draw the numbers 12, 23, 24, 33 and 39 with Thunderball number 13 came out – three of the same main numbers as those that appeared in the UK Lotto draw. Incidentally the draw was not televised for Thunderball tonight because of the National Lottery Awards. 39 also appeared in the Health Lottery draw – a lucky number tonight by all accounts!
