EuromillionsIt’s St George’s Day and while English residents will be marking the day, did you know that St George is patron Saint of many other countries. The list reads like the Eurovision entrants list but of these countries, two are countries where the Euromillions Lottery is played. So when the Euromillions double rollover plays tonight will it be a St George’s Day double Euromillions rollover win for either England or Portugal?

The Euromillions Lottery hasn’t had a jackpot winner for two weeks now and that means tonight’s jackpot is worth an estimated £38 million! There are nine European countries participating and of those nine, just two have St George as their patron saint.

Both England and Portugal will be flying the St George’s Day flag today but can Euromillions Lottery players from either of these countries bring home the bumper jackpot?

We’ll have to wait for the draw tonight and tomorrow’s results before we can answer that question, but even if the winner is a sole ticketholder from either of these countries, they won’t be creating any records.

The biggest English Euromillions Lottery winner was Nigel Page who scooped £56 million on the Euromillions Lottery earlier this year. The biggest ever winner from Portugal is on a par, having scooped €60 million on a three way share of a mind boggling €183 million back in February 2006.

The Euromillions Lottery is one of the biggest world lottery draws and that means tonight’s jackpot is sure to create a lot of excitement right across Europe. While flying the flag for St George today, don’t forget to buy your Euromillions Lottery tickets, if you want a chance to be the winner of this bumper St George’s Day jackpot.
