The South African Lottery is often missed in our world lottery list, it doesn’t always boast the bumper jackpots of some of the bigger world lottery draws and so doesn’t find itself so often in our lottery news pages. But today we have a South African Lottery newsflash, last Saturday a bumper R10 million was won in the South African Lottery draw and now the South African Powerball is up to R23 million, one of the biggest lottery jackpots seen on the lottery this year.
It’s certainly been a lucky couple of weeks for South African Lottery winners. On Saturday evening there was a guaranteed R10 million jackpot up for grabs. The winner, a 48 year old from the northwest of the country plans to remain anonymous. His daughters chose his lottery numbers and he now intends to take early retirement and move to the country to run his own farm.

The Friday night Powerball Lottery from the South African Lottery has been rolling for seven weeks now, the jackpot for this Friday is an estimated R23 million and this is sure to get lottery players right across South Africa excited.
Will the South African Powerball be won this Friday night? Who knows but as R23 million we’ll be keeping an eye on it on our world lottery news pages. It’s certainly giving many of the big lottery draws a run for their money this week and lottery fever is sweeping the country as players buy up tickets for the draw.
