Tonight’s Powerball Lottery jackpot from the South African Lottery is a massive R43 million after no players won Friday’s R38 million rollover jackpot. Then tomorrow evening it’s the main South African Lottery draw, that one has a jackpot of R8.5 million after rolling over at the weekend and that means there is over R50 million in lottery jackpots up for grabs.

Although this is an exciting event for South African’s it does highlight how poor the country is compared to our own, R50 million is little over £4 million but it’s one of the highest South African Lottery jackpots seen in ages.

As for the World Cup, well it continues, England are already on their way home and the host nation fared no better, France went out in the first round and there have been a few shock results since.
