The inaugural raffle went ahead on 30th December 2016 as national lottery operator Ithuba launched a new game to add to its selection. There were 1,560 guaranteed prizes up for grabs, including 15 luxury Mercedes Benz C-Class Cabriolets.
The prize details for the second raffle have not yet been announced, but tickets will go on sale at least 60 days ahead of the draw. Everyone who enters will again be given a unique, randomly-generated ticket number when they play, and can then look forward to the day of the raffle.
Ahead of the first raffle last Christmas, Ithuba announced that there were would be a minimum of four draws a year. As South African lottery fans wait for the raffle to take place in May, they can also enjoy a wide variety of other games every week, including Lotto, Powerball and Pick 3.
