Rollover Lotto Winners to Keep Working

Many of dream of winning the National Lottery so we can quit our jobs and live the life of luxury but this isn’t the plan for one lucky couple. The rollover Lotto winners are to keep working in their car repairs garage despite winning £7.6 million in last Saturdays National Lottery rollover draw. Eric and Sue Tarry of Fakenham, Norfolk scooped the rollover jackpot on Saturday after buying one lucky dip ticket.
Mr Tarry who at 78 is already well above the UK retirement age said he had no intention of giving up work after the win as it’s their ‘way of life’. Having lots of lovely customers who the couple also regard as friends means that their business is like a family. The couple employ three people at thei business and while Mr Tarry overseas the running of the business, his wife organises all the accounts and the wages.

The couple say they have barely slept since their big win and that it’s ‘yet to sink in’, they’ve yet to decide what to spend their winnings on but say they will be spoiling their big family, including five children, nine grandchildren and one great-granchild.
They also plan to finish off their new kitchen and possibly invest in a motor home, having not had a holiday for the last 24 years.
Mr and Mrs Tarry have been playing the National Lottery since its launch in 1994 and usually buy their ticket from the Budgens store in Wells Road, Fakenham, no doubt this store will be getting a rush of customers now hoping that some of the Tarry’s luck may rub off onto them.
The winning numbers for Saturdays Rollover National Lottery draw were 10, 34 35, 39, 43 and 47, although the rollover went to the Tarry’s there were lots of smaller winners too so check your ticket now if you haven’t done so already. Alternatively buy your tickets online and the National Lottery check them for you and send you an email if you have been lucky.
The next National Lottery draw will be held tonight (Wednesday 3rd December) and the jackpot is an estimated £2.5 million.
