Record Jackpot for Euromillions Lottery

Everyone was on the edge of their chairs last night at the £89 million jackpot for the Euromillions went up for grabs, but for all the lottery fever and ticket sales not one single player matched all the winning numbers in the draw and that means next week will see a record jackpot for the Euromillions Lottery. The estimated prize pool is £110 million, the highest amount ever seen for the lottery and no doubt players will be rushing to buy tickets for the draw.
The highest ever jackpot won by a single player was £77 million, or €115 million and that was scooped by Dolores McNamara from Ireland back in July 2005. Next Fridays jackpot will totally eclipse that massive win if won by a single player and will by far be the biggest jackpot ever seen for the Euromillions Lottery.

Although there were no jackpot winners in last night’s £89 million Euromillions Lottery draw there were still lots of lucky players. The winning numbers for the draw were 5 – 19 – 31 – 38 – 47, the lucky stars 3 and 5.
Sixteen lucky players scooped over £200,000 for matching five numbers and one lucky star and another twenty-six players take home £36,000 for matching all five winning numbers without the lucky stars. In total there was almost £8 million paid out just to UK players and that doesn’t include winners from the other eight European countries where the Euromillions Lottery is played.
Purchase your tickets early for next week as a rush of ticket sales last night meant that the National Lottery website was having trouble keeping up with demand. Buying your tickets at the National Lottery website is of course the safest and most convenient way to purchase your tickets, you don’t have to worry about keeping them safe and the lottery website will even let you know if you are a lucky winner.
If you’d like to get your hands on £110 million then buy your tickets now for the draw next Friday. Good luck!
